So, by now, pretty much everyone has heard about what is happening in Virginia. Well, okay unless you’ve been living under a rock, over 100 cities and counties have declared themselves “Second Amendment Sanctuaries”, which is an obvious dig at the left’s sanctuary status for illegal aliens.
Virginia, a predominately RED state, has been bought by Bloomberg money and has allowed a small majority to rule the entire state. First, let me preface this with the statement that, “This is why the framers gave us the “Electoral College”. At the time of this printing, 86 of 95 counties, have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries. One Virginia Senator even suggested sending in the National Guard to quell the uprising (an uprising which is totally constitutional). Governor Northam continues his declaration that these laws are constitutional, which anyone with a clear understanding of the English language would understand that statement to be false.
People have had enough. They’re tired of having to surrender their rights just to appease a minority of the population.
This nation, and the entire concept of its foundation, is the fact that “We The People” are in fact the rightful masters, and that those who “Serve” in elected office, are in fact our servants. The reason we call elected officials, public servants, is because they are supposed to be “SERVANTS”. They don’t have any right to tell us what is good for us. They don’t have any right to tell us how to live our lives.
One of the most heated debates currently, regards the second amendment. Let me make one thing perfectly clear. The Constitution of the United States is a limit on what the government is allowed to do to citizens, and as I stated previously, servants do not get to tell the master what to do.
Whether or not a firearm can be banned because its magazine has more than 10 rounds, or it has some cosmetic feature that makes it look scary, is immaterial . The “SERVANT” government doesn’t have any right to tell “WE THE PEOPLE”, the rightful masters, what we can and cannot have.
These so called “Common Sense “ gun laws are nothing but an obvious attempt to force people into believing these laws will do anything to prevent crime. Criminals do not, by definition, obey laws. Why anyone would expect them to even consider obeying a gun law, is beyond naïve.
As much as would hope it doesn’t have to come to this, I feel there is going to be “Shots Fired”, and all hell is going to break loose, and it might start in the state of Virginia.
