Firearms in a crisis

Safety systems can and will break down and when they do, you had better be prepared.

After Katrina, many Americans saw the need to have firearms at the ready. When systems break down and people get scared, survival becomes a serious motivator.

Today, our threat isn’t a natural disaster but instead a virus. A threat that has basically brought the entire world into a state of confusion, which brings me to my point. Guns sales across the country are booming. There are even reports of municipalities stopping firearm sales(supposedly for public safety). How could this make anyone safer?

On the bright side, there seems to be a lot of people who have decided to buy their first firearm, and finding out that it isn’t as easy as they have been lead to believe.

It has also been discovered that you can’t really buy a firearm on line without having to go through a Federal Firearms Licence dealer. All the clamor over the past few decades about how easy is is to get a gun is becoming a myth. States like New Jersey have such a convoluted system regarding firearm sales, it could take months for a first time buyer to have all the necessary forms and ID needed to make a purchase.
Americans who never thought about owning a firearm are waking up to a cold reality. Maybe now people will understand why those of us who are second amendment supporters, get upset when someone starts talking about sensible gun control.
